In Transit
So here I sit. In the hotel lobby of a courtyard by marriot. Alas... sleeping all day in the car will take it's payment tonight when I can't sleep until the wee small hours. Oh well.
And what can insomnia do for you?
Pictures! Yeah for not having to read a lot. Right? Right.
Observe the wonderfully ingenious solution to my having two months of luggage piled in with the luggage of four other persons: The dead body strapped to a luggage wrap wrapped in a tarp approach. One of my personal favorites. Two people have already asked us in parking lots "Is that.... a ... body?". Hah. No. It's actually shoes and various other accessories that didn't make it into the relm trunkdom.
I guess that begs the question: Why not fly? I dont fly because I have a very protective father who wants to be sure I am deposited safely in New York. So it's a family affair. And a very arduous car ride at that.
However the joy of being a nerdy geology major driving through very pretty states is of course none other than everyone's favorite traffic violation: Stopping to gawk at road cuts.
Here is a nice one we spotted in Maryland and pulled over to look at on I68. Pretty neat.
And that's all. Signing out in Harrisburg PA. See you tomorrow when I get to the big City after a few touristy things in Hershey PA.

Oh, I thought you were actually going to fly. But I think driving makes for a more interesting read, anyway.
